Our Approach

Christian Legal Aid of Pittsburgh, a division of Christian Legal Society, operates a pro bono clinic on Pittsburgh's North Side. During clinic, clients can obtain free legal advice, regardless of their ability to pay for the consultation. We believe all clients deserve assistance in developing a legal strategy, and we believe every client should be kept in our prayers.

Our Story

Our Story

Christian Legal Aid of Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed on September 9, 2003. Shortly thereafter, on January 29, 2004, the organization held its first pro bono clinic. In Christian Legal Aid’s early years, four volunteers would meet once each month at Oakland’s Church of the Ascension. Today, the clinic connects an extensive network of volunteers. Through the hard work of attorneys, law students, and community members, the clinic now meets every Monday and serves approximately 400 clients annually.
